Why do you complain that He answers
none of Your words?

For God does speak, again and again,
though people may not recognize it.
He speaks in dreams and visions of
the night,
and whispers in their ears
to turn them from wrongdoing;
and to keep them from pride.
|

I weep
and you are too blind to see
but I will always draw near
to the one who most desires
to feel as I feel
and to see as I see. |

“If we are faithful in little
things, we will also be faithful in
larger ones.
But if we are untrustworthy in small
matters, and in worldly wealth,
who will trust us with greater
responsibilities and true spiritual
riches?

In great distress Moses cried out,
“Lord, If your Presence does not go
with us,
do not send us up from here.
How will anyone know that you are
pleased with me
and with your people unless you go
with us?
The LORD replied, “My Presence will
go with you, and I will give you
rest.” |

In the book of Job, Elihu declared:
I sinned and twisted the truth,
perverting what was right,
but I soon discovered that it was
not worth it.

God delivered me
from going down to the pit,
He shone His light into my life,
not once but many times,
|
| |
|
| |
and He does these things
again and again,
to turn people back from the
pit,
so that we may enjoy the
light of life.
